Preview of the new exhibition Defiance
Not only design enthusiasts among our FRIENDS can look forward to a new highlight at the JMB.
The exhibition Defiance: Jewish Women and Design in the Modern Era is the first to honor the work of German-Jewish female artisans who forged their own paths during a time marked by exclusion and upheaval.

The exhibition presents the lives and work of more than 60 Jewish women designers and shows how they overcame social hurdles to fight for change and visibility - and how they paved the way for other women.
As FRIENDS OF THE JMB, you can always discover new exhibitions in advance: Once again, curator Michal Friedlander will open the doors for you on the evening before the opening and is looking forward to a personal exchange with you.
This year's general meeting of the FRIENDS OF THE JMB will take place beforehand at 4:45 pm. If you wish, you can combine the two events and round off the evening with us over a glass of wine. Of course, it is also possible to attend the preview only.
