Antisemitism. The Rumor about Jews
Workshop (in German)
Contempt for Jewish traditions and the rejection of Jews have a long history, which have time and again led to hatred and violence. Jewish institutions in Germany are protected by the police today. In a cursory tour of the exhibition and by viewing and evaluating film case studies produced especially for the exhibition, we approach the complex phenomenon of ‘Antisemitism’. In the separate debate room, participants discuss the antisemitic content of the exhibition on the basis of these examples.
The aim of the workshop is to reflect on our society today and to identify antisemitic expressions and actions. Participants are invited to share their ideas, thought processes, and experiences in the open discussion room, where they practice changing perspectives and forming their own judgment.
