A Symposium about Abraham, Isaac, and Ismael (video recording available, in German)

The story of the sacrifice of Abraham or the Binding of Isaac is one of the Bible’s most controversial episodes and can also be found in the Qur’an. It belongs to the fixed canon of tradition in the monotheistic religions, but they interpret it differently and put it into different religious practices with different meanings.
