Summer, garden, deckchairs – experience the museum outdoors during our Cultural Summer!
Over the past 20 years, the program series has developed from an insider tip to a permanent date in Berlin's cultural life. From July to August, we invite visitors of all ages to summer events in the museum and the extensive museum garden. At the summer festival, the Jazz in the Garden concert series and the Long Night of Museums, you can get to know the JMB at its best.

This year, the cultural summer starts with our summer festival for the whole family – inspired by the exhibition Defiance: Jewish Women and Design in the Modern Era. Two open-air concerts with international musicians will take place in the popular Jazz in the Garden series.
The final event is the Long Night of Museums in August. In the context of the exhibition Defiance: Jewish Women and Design in the Modern Era, the Glashof will be transformed into a market of possibilities for one night: Berlin artisans will present their work at market stalls: from the first Jewish puppet theater to goldsmiths, from industrial design to book illustration. Of course, there will also be culinary delights – and music!
The FRIENDS OF THE JMB will of course be present at all events, and they look forward to stimulating conversations and new faces!
